The pitfalls of creating web pages with a text editor
Sure you can create web pages using a simple text editor, but can you remember all the available tags and attributes and get them right? Also you'll have to keep on saving your text file and testing your page with a browser to make sure you haven't made any mistakes. But even if it all looks okay in your browser there may be mistakes in your pages that can make them look terrible or even unreadable to visitors to your site. That's because the web is a big place where lots of people use different versions of different operating systems with different browsers.
So how you you ensure that your pages will work in this mixed environment? Well, try using a one-stop validation service such as Total Validator that will check that your pages have no mistakes. Best still you can use this all-in-one validator before you've published your pages to world!
