2.7.4/1.2.3 Released

Today the latest validation engine was released, v2.7.4. This was a bug-fix only release.

A corresponding release of the dekstop tool was also made, v1.2.3. This release incoporates the latest validation engine and provides a new facility to auto-check for updates.
