Firefox extension issues

topCannot install
Firefox sometimes displays a popup saying that it cannot install the extension because it has an "Invalid file hash". This is a known Firefox issue and not a problem with the extension download file. Restart your browser (ensure that you close all windows and dialogs). If the extension is not installed after the restart, try to download it again.
Cannot change options
If after installing a new version you cannot seem to change any options or clicking the OK button on the Options dialog doesn't make it close, try resetting all options by using the Defaults button first.
If this does not work then open up the javascript/error console and look for any error messages that appear when you click the OK button. In order to see all the messages that can appear in the javascript/error console you may have to change some Firefox settings. Open a new tab with a URL of "about:config". Scroll down until you see "*javascript.options.showInConsole". Ensure this is set to "true", restart Firefox and try changing some options and clicking OK again. Send to us any information that looks like TV may have a fault.
Other issues
If TV doesn't respond or operate properly try the following things to see if it will help:
- Disable all your extensions except for TV. Restart Firefox to see if TV now works. If it does then it could be another badly behaved extension at fault. Try enabling the other extensions one by one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
- Try uninstalling the TV extension, restarting Firefox, and then installing it again.
- Restart Firefox then immediately open the javascript/error console and look for any obvious error messages related to TV. Try opening the Options and then validating something and look again at the javascript/error console to see if anything related to TV appears. Send to us any information that looks like TV has a fault. If you see any error messages in the console for other extensions, you may wish to disable or even uninstall them and try TV again.
In order to see all the messages that can appear in the javascript/error console you may have to change some Firefox settings. Open a new tab with a URL of "about:config". Scroll down until you see "*javascript.options.showInConsole". Double click this to set it to "true". Restart Firefox and try running TV again. You may now see some messages that were hidden before. Send to us any information that looks like TV may have a fault.
