Total Validator Embedded

Total Validator Embedded runs on Windows (7-11), and most recent versions of Linux and UNIX.

Please note that we do not provide downloads for older versions as these are unsupported. We advise that you keep a backup of the installation or a copy of the download, in case you need to reinstall it.

Upgrading

When upgrading, you can overwrite the existing install. But ensure that you backup any files you may have changed, such as TotalValidatorEmb.bat or TotalValidatorEmb.sh, before overwriting with the new version.

Installing/Uninstalling

Windows: To install, run the .exe file you downloaded, overwriting any previous installation. Use TotalValidatorEmb.bat to run Total Validator. Uninstall from the Windows control panel like any other Windows program.

Linux: To install, copy the .tar.gz file you downloaded into the directory of your choice and run the following command to create the TotalValidatorEmb directory that contains the application:

# tar xvfz TotalValidatorEmb.tar.gz

Use TotalValidatorEmb.sh to run Total Validator. To uninstall, delete the TotalValidatorEmb directory.

The Linux version is for 64-bit PCs using glibc version 2.12+. If this doesn't work, try the "no JRE" version: This requires Java 11 from your distribution's repository or from AdoptOpenJDK.
